About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)

Karolina Mazetyte

Entrepreneur, Writer, and Consultant

Karolina is a social entrepreneur, management consultant, writer, and wellbeing facilitator. She is the proud co-founder and CEO of the internationally recognized Youth to Youth initiative. When asked about her connection to transformation, she believes she should empower individuals to not fear being judged – “The fear to be judged was holding me back from being real, but I transformed it into a story, which today empowers people around the world to not be ashamed to be themselves and talk about their own struggles in public. I want people to be able to talk about the ‘‘taboo‘‘, sensitive topics openly and listen to them with empathy because it can not only empower people to reach out for help, follow their dreams, but sometimes even save someone’s life.”

He believes that by applying the dynamics of physics to the human body will allow us to undo those damages and finally we will be able to transform ourselves to be better adapted for that final frontier.

Christian Boysen

Christian Boysen

Social Entrepreneur

Christian is a social entrepreneur and has been working in Malmö as a social entrepreneurship facilitator. For the past 2 years, he chose to dedicate his whole life to support the process of change in the event industry, once he awoke to the realization of how far behind the industry is when it comes to tackling social challenges, he realized that people see the challenges as something that is inherent part of the industry. He believes if anything, transformation and growth is the only constant that makes sense and as we grow and learn more about ourselves, others and our world, change is inevitable.
Christian’s biggest achievement has been to inspire the government and the music industry to look harder into what they can do to tackle social challenges.
